About the event
Join the City of Mauldin and BridgeWay Station at the inaugural BridgeWay 5K! This family-friendly event will take you across the Mauldin Gateway Bridge and down a portion of the future Swamp Rabbit Trail. The route continues as it crosses Butler Road and winds around Mauldin High School bringing you back over the bridge before you cross the finish line at BridgeWay Station!
The 1-mile Fun Run will begin after the 5K kicks off. All proceeds from the fun run will benefit Camp Worthy, a non-profit organization created by Mauldin Police Officer Claudia Bonds. The mission of Camp Worthy is to “reach young girls prior to entering the adult world by ensuring they know their worth and identity in an uplifting, supportive manner.”
This event is family-friendly, including our 4-legged family members (on leash). After the event concludes, spend the day at BridgeWay Station and enjoy local businesses and restaurants!
